These terms apply to purchases and use of the website at toriahowell.com, operated by Toria Howell trading as Olewydd.

By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them before buying.

Placing an order

When you place an order through my shop, you're making an offer to buy. The contract between us is formed when I (or my fulfilment partner) confirm or dispatch your order.

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. I reserve the right to update prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

Products

Paperbacks

Paperbacks are printed to order by BookVault and shipped directly to you. Because each copy is produced specifically for your order, they are classified as made-to-order goods. Please see my Returns & Refunds Policy for details on cancellations and returns.

Colours and finish may vary slightly from screen previews due to differences between digital displays and print production.

Ebooks

eBooks are not sold through my shop. They're available exclusively through Amazon, where they're included in Kindle Unlimited or available to purchase. eBook purchases through Amazon are subject to Amazon's own terms and conditions.

Payment

Payment is taken at the point of purchase via Squarespace Payments (powered by Stripe). Olewydd does not see or store your full card details.

Delivery

Estimated delivery times and shipping information are set out in my Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, book covers, illustrations, and design — is owned by Toria Howell / Olewydd or used with permission, and is protected by copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without my written permission, except for short excerpts for the purpose of reviewing my books (which is very much encouraged).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olewydd's total liability to you for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Olewydd is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events outside my reasonable control (including but not limited to postal delays, print production issues, natural disasters, or platform outages).

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Links to other websites

My website contains links to third-party websites (such as Amazon, social media platforms, and BookFunnel). I'm not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when they were last revised. Changes won't affect orders already placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
